An Explosive History

Explosive demolition is a speciality at DSR. The managing director's father, Fred Ogden, was a founder member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers. It's in the blood.

Our engineers have worked on large scale and highly challenging projects involving cooling towers, industrial chimneys, boiler houses and bunkers.  More recently, nationwide town centre regeneration has given DSR the opportunity to demolish several structurally unstable multi-storey car parks, and develop a bespoke methodology in the process.

Using our experience, our expertise and some very meticulous planning, we have an exemplary record in this type of work. From the early stages of methodology design, right through to 'pushing the button', DSR has the in-house expertise to deliver explosive demolition projects safely, efficiently, and with limited disruption to the surroundings.
